Announcement: 2026 Price Increase

At BlueSteam, we have always done our best to keep our pricing as stable as possible. In fact:

• Web hosting pricing has not changed since 2021 (over 4 years).
• Value Added Services such as SpamExperts and SSL certificates have not changed since 2024 (+-1.5 years).
• WordPress Maintenance has not increased since 2020 (over 5 years).

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing rise in operational costs and external service provider pricing, it has become necessary to adjust our fees across our service offerings.

Below is a clear breakdown of all pricing adjustments.

Web Hosting Packages

Our hosting prices have remained unchanged since 2021. The new pricing also adjusts the annual discount structure.

Previously, annual packages included 2 months free hosting (10 months billed).
Going forward, our annual packages will only include a 1 month free hosting (11 months billed).

Domain Names

.ZA Domains

International Domains

International TLD pricing remains exchange-rate dependent. Prices may fluctuate up or down depending on currency changes.

Value Added Services

SpamExperts Email Filtering

Please note that Incoming & Outgoing has now been aligned with the pricing structure of Incoming & Archiving and Outgoing & Archiving.
This adjustment may make the increase appear larger for this specific plan but it is actually what it should have been billed at since the start.

WordPress Maintenance

NOTE: This service has not increased in price since 2020.

Professional Services

Website Development & Design

Our hourly development rate is increasing slightly. Development work is billed in 15-minute units

Remote Session Support

Effective Date

All new pricing will take effect from 15 March 2026.

Existing services will automatically transition to the updated pricing at the next billing cycle occurring after this date.

We greatly appreciate your continued support and understanding. Our goal has always been to keep pricing increases as infrequent and reasonable as possible while continuing to provide reliable infrastructure, support, and service quality.
